Charlea T. Massion, MD. TOOER
Course Director. Dr. Massion has been a board-certified family physician and
women's health specialist for over 20 years. She practices in Santa Cruz, CA and
teaches in the Division of Family and Community Medicine at Stanford University
School of Medicine. She is on the Advisory Board of the American College of
Women Health Physicians, and coauthor of "The Truth About Hormone Replacement
Therapy" published by Prima Press 2002.

Jennifer Bolen, MD. Dr. Bolen is a board-certified
psychiatrist who also is a Board Examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry.
During her 22 years of psychiatry practice, she has worked in both private
practices and a large, tertiary care institution. She is dedicated to education
on the health and well being of physicians and other health providers, and has
lectured on burnout and compassion fatigue.

Michelle P. Brown, MD. Dr. Brown received her
medical degree from Tufts University in 1984 and then completed a general
surgery residency program. In her surgical practice, she devoted much time to
treating breast diseases, particularly breast cancer. Since 1996 she has been an
advocate and practitioner of Integrative Medicine, employing many complementary
and alternative modalities in her current work which concentrates on the
treatment and management of chronic pain.

Marita R. Grudzen, MHS. Ms. Grudzen is Associate
Director of the Stanford Geriatric Education Center, a multi-ethnic,
multi-disciplinary national resource center on ethnogeriatrics . She is a
lecturer in the Division of Family and Community Medicine at Stanford University
School of Medicine, and has co-directed both McGann Women Health Lecture series
and the Women's Health clerkship for many years.

Gail Prichard, MD. Dr Prichard is Associate Clinical
Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine. For 14 years,
she has specialized in women's mental health issues at Stanford University
Health Center. She actively consults with Stanford's Professional Schools of
Medicine and Business, and is the Student Affairs liaison for sexual
harassment. She also has developed wellness models in working with Peak Performers.

Susan Stangl, MD. After receiving her medical degree
from UCLA in 1977 and completing her family practice residency at the UCLA-Santa
Monica Medical Center in 1980, she practiced in Santa Monica for 13 years. In
1993 her interest in teaching drew her back to UCLA Medical School. She
currently is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Assistant Dean for
Student Affairs.

Ellen Watson. Ms. Watson is a teacher of
transformational practices, including Gabrielle Roth's 5 Rhythms, dance, yoga,
and breathwork. She has been at Esalen since 1984, teaching on the Movement Arts
staff. Ms. Watson teaches movement classes both nationally and internationally,
and recently has led workshops in Bali, Greece, and Venezuela.
